Charlton Hall Galleries Offers November Auctions of Estate Jewelry and Vintage Toys

On November 19th, Charlton Hall Galleries will present two auctions of estate jewelry and vintage toys. Over 200 pieces of jewelry will hit the block in the morning session. Among them is a Van Cleef & Arpels colored diamond ear clip set. Designed to resemble four-petaled flowers, these ear clips remain in good condition with no evidence of chips or scuffs. Clear diamonds form the centers and stems of the flowers. Bidders will also find a rare Ceylon sapphire ring. A platinum mount and trillion-cut diamonds accent the 10.95-carat natural blue sapphire. Other notable lots include a diamond and white gold riviere necklace, a diamond and South Sea pearl brooch, and an assortment of vintage engagement rings. 

Charlton Hall Galleries will offer antique and vintage toys in the afternoon of November 19^th. The catalog includes toys from brands such as Louis Marx & Company, Lehmann Toy Company, and J. Chein & Company. Each manufacturer gained a reputation for producing high-quality tin mechanical toys in the late 19^th and early 20^th centuries. One notable offering is a Marx Spic and Span wind-up toy. It shows two performers smiling and playing instruments.
