Carol Schwartz Gallery Liquidation

The Carol Schwartz Gallery recently closed the doors of their North Wales location. The final pieces of this art gallery will be available in the upcoming liquidation auction offered by Alderfer Auction. Some of the highlights of this two-day sale will include works by New York-based photographer Jordan Matter, Israeli artist Arona Reiner, and several hand-knotted Israeli rugs.

With over 150 available lots, the first day of the sale will feature many photographs by Jordan Matter, who specializes in water dance photography. Highlighted is a print depicting a dancer in front of Philadelphia’s Love sculpture. Other available Matter prints include one showing four dancers in the rain and another of dancers under Ben Franklin bridge. Other notable lots are a Pancorbo giclee nude portrait, an abstract landscape painting in bright red, green, and blue colors, and a Maskit hand-knotted rug with an abstract design. Also included is a Coca-Cola still life multimedia painting by Arona Reiner, prints by Norman Rockwell, office chairs, mirrors, and more.
