Interiors Session I & II

The historic French Beauvais tapestries, especially the foliate and floral pieces, are called “verdures” tapestries. The upcoming Interiors auction offered by Hindman will particularly feature an 18th-century Beauvais wool tapestry panel. Oriental rugs from around the world are also a part of the auction. The leading Persian Kirman rug is sought after for its fine wool and artistic designs; it was commissioned by Emperor Nader Shah.
