At Monterey 2022, Mecum Showcases a 1989 Lamborghini Countach

A 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition is one of the main attractions of Monterey 2022, presented by Mecum Auctions.  It is equipped with a 5.2L V-12 engine rated at 455 HP, gated ZF five-speed manual transmission, single plate hydraulic clutch, independent front suspension, and ventilated disc brakes with four-piston calipers. Originally introduced as a concept car, Giuseppe Bertone’s design drew much attention, which convinced Lamborghini to start production. The offered lot comes in its original Bianco white paint and blue leather interiors with iconic scissor doors, power windows with tinted glass, polished O.Z. racing wheels, and Pirelli P-Zero tires. 

Another top lot is a 1934 Packard 1108 twelve Dietrich individual custom convertible sedan. It is only one of 12 known to exist. Previously part of the Cassini and Andrews Collections, the Packard has won Best in Class at 2010 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and the Classic Car Club of America Trophy at 2010 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
