Overall very good condition. Light wear throughout. Top is missing screws to fix it to the frame. The combination lock to the left-facing drawer is locked and the combination is unknown. The left-facing pull-out drawer’s edging has separated slightly but is stable. Light oxidation through the legs. Leather surfaces have occasional rubbing to the gilding as well as scratches and scuffing from age and use.

Very good condition. Tabletop has occasional scratches and scuffing as well as an area of discoloration (graying) along the edge. One corner of the tabletop with a very good repair. Base with light wear.

My Declaration of Independence is a monumental mixed media artwork on wood by art activist Greg Haberny who describes his style as completely loose and out of control. Haberny uses paint, oil sticks, glitter and found objects to denounce global chaos and violence via comic characters that surround a laughing teddy bear who activates a detonator. It blasts wood shards and other found objects filled with glitter and gold colored explosions. Signature, title and date on verso: Summer of 2011, My Declaration of Independence, Greg Haberny. Bonsai III is an outstanding original mixed media polychrome sculpture by Cuban social commentary artists Alain Guerra and Neraldo de la Paz, aka Guerra de La Paz. The duo has created a budding tree out of discarded clothing tied together to make the trunk, branches, leaves, and flowers. This visually stunning artwork addresses issues of consumerism while showing an interconnectivity between humans via the untwined pieces of recycled materials. Does not include stone pellets that go on the base of the tree. Approximate artwork dimensions: 30″L x 30″W x 25″H. Base dimensions: 40″H x 16.50″ dia. This item has a base included.
