And he himself, the Grinch, carved the roast beast!” Upon discovering the error of his Grinchy ways, the Grinch transforms from cold-hearted and red-eyed to the good-natured blue-eyed friend to all Whos. This is an original hand-painted production cel of the very rare blue-eyed Grinch carving the roast beast at the film’s finale. At this heartwarming scene around the 24:19 mark, the Grinch prepares to cut off a slice of roast beast which Cindy Lou Who serves to Max the dog. This outstanding image of the title character measures approximately 6″ x 6″, is presented over a matching print background and bears a Linda Jones holographic seal. This key scene sums up the moral of the story and is a must-have for any Grinch, Chuck Jones or Dr. Seuss collector. Matted with an opening of 12″ x 9 with an overall size of 18″ x 15″. Minor handling and condition is Very Good.

Fifteen to twenty cracked tiles in shade. However, shade is tight with very little flex. Base does not sit completely flush on flat surface and there is some evidence of filing to the feet. Original patina with areas of ver-de-gris.

Robert Lualdi
Robert Lualdi was born in the mountains of Northern Italy in 1944. He began his jewelry profession in Zurich studying under many master lapidary artists and jewelry designers. As of 1980 he established his own atelier and became internationally recognized for his creations of Animalia and birds of prey, especially those made in silver, gold and precious stones. Robert Lualdi retired from professional life in 2011, but still does private commissions for his discreet and loyal clientele.

This bag is done in Flower Power quilted lambskin leather with silver hardware, featuring a long chain strap and a Mademoiselle CC pinchlock closure. The interior is done in black grosgrain, featuring one slip pocket.

There is faint tarnishing to the hardware and light rubbing to a couple of the base corners. This bag includes a Chanel dustbag and authenticity card.
