The base features decoration of daffodils with leaves in metal overlay with a rare variation of the Tiffany Studios Vine Border shade with a single pink blossom. The leaf overlay was likely completed by Japanese metal worker R. Ito.
Impressed signature, date and number to underside of base ‘Flame mark/I/S1647’ with artist cipher. Impressed manufacturer’s mark to inner edge of shade ‘Tiffany Studios New York’.
Centering (1) oval-cut alexandrite, weighing 8.44 cts., accompanied by a Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Alexandrite Report #6172017064, Dated March 07, 2014, Stating Natural Alexandrite Yellowish Green Changing to Brownish Yellow, accented by (176) full-cut diamonds, weighing a total of approximately 0.80 cts., set in a 14k white gold mounting, size 6, gross weight 7.2 grams
