BTS STAGE USED AND SIGNED CUSTOM MICROPHONES

A group of seven custom silver-toned Shure microphones from BTS (방탄소년단), also known as the Bangtan Boys, a seven-member South Korean boy band formed in Seoul in 2013 comprised of Jin (진), Suga (슈가), J-Hope (제이홉) RM, Jimin (지민), V (뷔), and Jungkook (정국).

Each numbered microphone lists one of the BTS member’s names and is signed by the respective band members in black marker: “RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook”.

The seven signed, custom-made microphones were used by BTS from ~2017-2019, including during their epic “BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself”, and they are the first ever items to come to auction from the group.

BTS also used the microphones while performing at the “BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” date at Citi Field in New York City on October 6, 2018.

The microphone set are housed in a custom velvet-lined black case with “BTS” on the front.

It is our pleasure to participate in 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year by donating seven of our customized microphones that have helped push our music beyond linguistic and regional barriers. Through this donation, we hope people can remember our genuine and heartfelt message that we always have strived to deliver: “LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF”. – BTS
