Vintage Pavilion Exposition and Aladdin Lincoln Drape Kerosene Lamp Shades Lead the Upcoming Sale by Jeffrey S. Evans & Assoc., Inc

The Gone With the Wind lamp, also called a hurricane or chamber lamp, is known for its double-lampshade structure with both the top and bottom having identical color. The eponymous lampshade became popular after it was used in the set design of the movie, Gone With the Wind. One such consolidated pavilion exposition kerosene parlor lamp is a key highlight of this upcoming auction, presented by Jeffrey S. Evans & Assoc., Inc. The red vase holder in reversed position is fitted with a cast-metal vase liner with an acanthus leaves rim and bronze-finished cast-iron foot. It has a stamped fleur-de-lis and rib pattern at the shoulder. The early 20th century piece is crafted with a period Plume & Atwood Royal burner, a slip chimney and an upper shade with a brass heat ring at the top.

Two striking pairs of cobalt blue crystal lamps also lead the listings. The Aladdin model B-76/ Lincoln drape kerosene stand lamps have plain feet with a crowfoot design to the underside. Each piece has a side refill feature with original cap and a brass Model B “Chicago” burner without a flame spreader.
