Upcoming Bonhams Auction Offers Prints by David Hockney, Andy Warhol

Throughout his career, David Hockney experimented with painting, drawing, printmaking, watercolor, and other media. In 1964, when Hockney moved to Los Angeles, he was inspired by the vibrant acrylic paintings of swimming pools. Pool made with Paper and Blue Ink for Book, an artwork by David Hockney, is available in Bonhams’ upcoming Prints & Multiples auction. The color lithograph is executed on Arches Cover paper.  

Andy Warhol’s Fish is also available. The screenprint displays three gray-colored fish aligned in a column. Guild Hall East Hampton is a 1980 screenprint by Roy Lichtenstein and is on offer as well. Interested bidders can view the full catalog or place a bid on Bonhams.
