Thursday Morning Auction at Stair Highlights Jonas Upholstered Sofa and Thomas Stearns Nebbia Lunare Vase

Jonas, a leading brand in the upholstery industry, is famous for its fine handmade upholstery and furniture. The fourth-generation family business with exclusive clientele functions from its Manhattan workroom. Stair’s upcoming ‘Thursday Morning at Stair’ auction will now offer a pair of linen and chintz upholstered sofas by Jonas. Upholstered in Rogers & Goffigon linen and Les Indiennes chintz fabric, the sofa carries the Jonas label. The offered lot is a beige-colored sofa that has a contemporary yet soft approach look. It comes with four square-shaped cushions in floral prints and elegant sofa base legs. The outside back of the sofa and arm panel sides have floral print patterns that match the cushions.    

Another lot of interest is a glass Nebbia Lunare vase designed by Thomas Stearns. The top portion of the translucent vase has fine vertical incisions in stunning blue shades, while the lower portion is cased in dark-brown hued glass.
