The Jesse Lopez Dollar Collection US Coins Month-Long Online Auction

Heritage Auctions will highlight a 1795 one-dollar draped bust coin in the upcoming online auction. This coin is slightly off-center with minimal wear. The detail is sharp despite remnants of adjustment marks on the Liberty portrait and along the borders; the definition of the stars and dentils is unaffected. 

Featuring the U.S. dollar collection of Jesse Lopez, this sale will also include an 1868 one-dollar coin. This coin shows original blue-green and lilac border toning around a brighter center, which is the typical coloration found on coins from this period. An 1802 narrow date dollar can also be found along with an 1878 one-dollar coin with doubled legs. The latter piece is made of 90% silver and 10% copper.
