Since the creation of the classic rock group Steely Dan in the 1970s, lead guitarist Walter Becker helped revolutionize pop music. Property from The Estate of Walter Becker ranges in estimate from $50 – $15,000, with an overall estimation of $2 million. Within a selection of over 600 guitars is the Sadowsky Signature Model #1 that Becker performed with. Upon the artist’s request, the guitar has a flamed maple top and a grain center. Another noteworthy piece is a factory-refinished 1954 Fender Stratocaster, usually kept in the control room of Walter Becker’s studio.
