Leading the sale is a watercolor painting by Myles Birket Foster. An English genre artist, Myles Birket Foster was largely recognized for his portrayals of everyday life in the Victorian era. Titled Harvesting the Hay, the available piece shows farm laborers gathering hay. Foster’s signature appears in the lower right corner.
