Musicares®’ 30th Anniversary Person Of The Year Charity Auction

Aerosmith was one of the most popular hard rock bands of the 1970s. To honor the legacy of the band and raise money for charity, Julien’s Auctions will present the upcoming Musicares’ 30th Anniversary Person Of The Year Charity Auction. The sale features signed guitars from Eddie Vedder, Taylor Swift, and Harry Styles. The available items range from custom made and signed music memorabilia to a VIP meet and greet with Aerosmith. Two tickets to the 62nd Grammy Awards on January 26th, 2020 are also among the highlighted lots. Following the show, winners of the tickets are extended two after-party celebration passes as well. 

Standing out in this auction is a set of custom made microphones from BTS. The lot includes seven signed microphones that the South Korean pop band used between 2017 and 2019. These microphones are the first BTS items to cross the auction block following the group’s rise to popularity. The band issued a statement regarding the lot: “It is our pleasure to … [donate] seven of our customized microphones that have helped push our music beyond linguistic and regional barriers.” Each numbered microphone is signed by one of the band members in black marker and rests in a branded black velvet case.
