This upcoming charity relief event, presented by Julien’s Auctions, benefits MusiCares, an organization providing emergency resources and support to musicians. Among the featured lots is an amplifier used by the Rolling Stones’ bass guitarist, Bill Wyman, during their Steel Wheels/ Urban Jungle tour. The 1989/ 1990 tour was their first without keyboardist and co-founder Ian Stewart.
Music memorabilia collectors can also consider an Ozzy Osbourne stage-worn outfit. Red crosses appear on the chest, sleeves, and line the pants of an otherwise all-black ensemble. The musician wore this while performing at Ozzfest at Donington Park in 2002. Fans of the family sitcom Full House will find a black leather jacket worn by John Stamos during the show’s production. The jacket comes with a note from Stamos: “One of my fav leather jackets from Full House/ Hate to part with it – but anything for Music Cares [sic].” Those interested in this or any other lot can register to bid on the Julien’s Auctions website.
