February Gallery Auction

After being known as a master in the Mexican school of painting, Jesús Guerrero Galván joined the Movimiento de Creación Plástica, or the Mexican Muralist Movement. Beyond his work as a  muralist, Galván was a painter of many skills who worked on oil paintings, lithographs, and illustrations. One of his self-portraits will be offered in Michaan’s Auctions’ upcoming February Gallery Auction. 

Over 500 lots will be presented in this sale, including jewelry, decorative art, and sterling silver pieces. A 14-karat yellow gold ring is a highlight. It features one emerald-cut diamond set in a graduated fan motif. In addition to jewelry, sets of flatware and tea services will be available. A Shreve & Co.
