The Fall Sports Card Auction, offered by Heritage Auctions, is anchored by more than 2,500 baseball cards. Featured is a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle collectible card that has remained entirely untouched since 2016. Centering is within desirable parameters and its surfaces are clean. Of the more recent baseball items is a 1993 Derek Jeter card. This is considered by most collectors to be Jeter’s rookie card, though he did not win Rookie of the Year until 1996. The value of Jeter collectibles has been increasing in anticipation of his becoming eligible for the Hall of Fame ballot in 2020.
