Fall Premiere

Susanin’s Fall Premiere Auction features 580 lots of fine and decorative arts, Asian art, Native American baskets, furniture and much more. Taking center stage in the auction is a collection of Tiffany Studios mosaic glass zodiac panels. These Marshall Field & Company Men’s Grill panels depict Aquarius, Libra, Leo, Cancer, and two Capricorns. Together with a collection of loose Tiffany Studios favrile glass mosaic tiles make this a beautiful and unique piece to own. 

An interesting Homme chair by Ruth Francken (1924-2006) is also highlighted. This fascinating black polyurethane chair with a steel base is shaped like a human body with arms and legs. Another item included in the auction is a framed and signed oil painting by Dutch artist Anthony Oberman (1781-1845). This painting is titled “Still Life with Flowers, Strawberries and a Cherry,” and features beautiful, vibrant flowers in a brown colored vase with cherries and strawberries next to it.
