Art collectors around the globe have high regards for Christie’s renowned Design auctions, offering furniture, lighting, ceramics and sculpture from the late-19th century through to the present day. Estimated to go up to $1.5 million is the majestic and imposing ‘Mouflon de Pauline’ Bar Cabinet (2007) by François-Xavier Lalanne. An extraordinary cabinet by Eugène Printz and Jean Dunand leads the French Art Deco chapter. The sale also features an iconic “Miss Blanche” chair by Shiro Kuramata, Les Oies and sheep by Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne and exceptional sculptures by Harry Bertoia. Christie’s Design auction will feature a curated selection of over 90 works ranging from the turn of the 20th century to contemporary designs.
