The Winter Comic & Toy Auction will be offered by . Featured in this sale are original blueprints from science fiction movies, including a drawing used to produce Star Wars: Episode IV. The available lot shows the floor plan of the Death Star’s main bay. This blueprint, along with others in the sale, was sourced from the estate of Shane Johnson, a writer for Starlog Journal and the Star Wars Technical Journal. The blueprints were given to him directly by the studio to assist in writing his books. Other Star Wars-related items include a number of early toy figures, vehicles, and playsets—some in their original packaging.
Beyond Star Wars items, more than 250 comic books, rare Pokémon cards, and antique toys will be offered. Featured is a set of Hasbro Jumpin Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head toys from 1966. Some examples of the newer toys under the gavel are an unused digital Ferrari slot car set and a Namco Ms. Pacman and Galaga video game cabinet.
