Modern and contemporary armchairs, couches, lamps, and art can be found in Wright’s upcoming American Design auction. A pair of Milo Baughman lounge chairs, a Paul Evans coffee table, and a Paolo Soleri wind chime are among the items showcased. Baughman was an American furniture designer best known for his modern yet affordable designs. Featured is a pair of lounge chairs from his collaboration with Thayer Coggin. These chairs are made of rosewood and upholstered in rose-colored fabric.
A coffee table designed by Paul Evans is also included. This Cityscape table was produced in 1975. The steel and glass coffee table stands approximately 18 inches tall and 54 inches wide. Also highlighted is a Paolo Soleri wind chime. Soleri was an Italian architect and a National Design Award recipient. He also lectured at the College of Architecture at Arizona State University and authored several books on architecture. Other items found in the auction include a set of 12 Allan Gould dining chairs, a Smith Metal Arts Company green moon crest table lamp, and a Herman Miller Tetra6 kite.
