Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989) “The Twelve Signs of the Zodiac,” 1967, the complete portfolio of thirteen lithographs and text by Nicolas Sokoloff, edition number 235 of the 250 numbered copies on Arches wove paper, printed by Fernand Mourlot, Paris, published by Amiel, Paris, the twelve zodiac lithographs pencil signed and numbered and housed in modern silver-tone brushed metal frames (Phyllis Lucas Old Print Center, NYC), the frontispiece and text housed in original beige-linen hardcase box. Framed prints: image: 28.5″ H x 20.25″ W; frame: 29″ H x 20.75″ W x 1.25″ D. Condition: There is light wave or buckling to the paper, also light toning in the margins that becomes slightly more pronounced at the framed edges. Scorpio exhibits minor water stains along the bottom edge and corners.
