Rare Royal Doulton figurine titled One of the Forty. Model 328, style 11, produced in a deep Titanian glaze. This dramatic character study depicts a member of the infamous Forty Thieves from Arabian folklore, dressed in flowing robes and a fez, clutching a heavy sack. Richly glazed in dark green and blue hues, the figure exhibits the high gloss and depth distinctive of the Titanian finish. Designed by Charles Noke and first issued in the early 20th century, this piece showcases Doulton’s exceptional craftsmanship and storytelling tradition.
