Starting: $20

Royal Doulton by Harry Simeon Stoneware Bibelot, Fish Tray:

Modeled in the form of a stylized fish, this glazed stoneware dish was designed by Harry Simeon for Royal Doulton. The tray displays a sculptural contour with articulated fin, tail, and mouth features. The surface is richly hand-painted in tones of ochre, green, blue, burgundy, and pale yellow, creating a vibrant representation of a fish. The interior detailing includes incised ridges corresponding to the bones and gills, which are enhanced with colorful glaze. The underside is impressed with the Royal Doulton circular backstamp used for stoneware pieces, reading ROYAL DOULTON, ENGLAND, with the interlaced initials within a quatrefoil, along with the model number 8906. This piece is part of the Royal Doulton Bibelot series, which featured small decorative wares often inspired by animals and nature, attributed to the early 20th century period.
