A beautiful, delicate shade of soft red, almost pale salmon, serves as the background hue for the stately series of borders. Within the extra large oversized rug, detail work is rendered in ivory, a ruddy orange, and a deep, royal blue. Vine scrolls, floral details, and precisely woven, classical vegetative detail elements appear throughout the borders, lending the carpet an immediate sense of complexity.
