This lot includes a rarely offered original stereoscopic albumen print on yellow cardstock mount of The Funeral of President Lincoln, New York, April 25th, 1865. The stereograph shows a bird’s eye view of the hearse carrying Lincoln’s coffin during the funeral procession down Broadway in New York City. Published by E. & H.T Anthony & Co. Emporium of American and Foreign Stereoscopic Views, Chromos and Albums, 591 Broadway, New York. It also includes a 1909 Lincoln Centenary published by the New York State Education. This prospectus for the schools of the state was compiled by Harlan Hoyt Horner.
