John Manuel Gutierrez is a gay artist, growing up homeless in Florida and attending famous High school Dreyfoos School of visual arts. Before moving to New York City, John attended The School of Visual Arts. Cartoonist and Fine Artist, John works in Pop Art and Comics. Though Gutierrez is gay, he’s part of a crew of Outsider Cartoonists from Florida called Rough House. Brooklyn based, John works on multiple fronts, including painting, design, comics and commercial imagery.
