George Nakashima (1905-1990)Black Walnut Slab Coffee Table, the table features single-slab construction, top 1 1/2″ thick, with two free edges and two exposed knots, two separations joined by butterflies (one on the edge and one on the widest end of top), marked with client name to underside ‘Klavan’. The Nakashima Foundation has confirmed that they have the original order card for ‘Klavan’ and a digital copy can be purchased from them for a fee. Provenance: purchased from Fifty/50, 793 Broadway, New York, NY 10003, February 27, 1993 for $3000.
Measurements: Height: 14 3/4 in. x Width: 50 3/8 in. x Depth: 35 in.

Good condition, light wear and scratches, natural age cracks to wood.
