Eddy Maniez, One-of-a-Kind Sculpture, Poisson Lune, Signed:
Outstandingly beautiful one-of-a-kind metallic orange-peach sculpture by French Contemporary artist Eddy Maniez who continuously experiments with non-traditional materials. His technique is influenced by the 1880s French Pointillism School that George Seurat invented by applying distinct dots of color in analytical patterns to form an image. Maniez has integrated this technique in Poisson Lune (Sunfish) made with a shimmery resin base dressed with a multitude of silicone pegs to form patterns that appear prickly, yet are soft to the touch. Maniez completed his sea creature by covering the eyes and mouth, and the front of the fin to the end of the tail with different color Swarovski crystals. Ink signature and edition number under the belly of the fish: Maniez 1 of 1.
