Doulton Lambeth Hannah and Arthur Barlow Cheese Dome & Plate, Ye Fable:

Doulton Lambeth stoneware covered cheese plate featuring incised landscape scenes with various animals including deer and a reclining lion. Designed and decorated by Hannah Barlow and Arthur Barlow, this piece is decorated with detailed sgraffito work and finished with an Art Nouveau foliate motif around the base, rim, and lid. The domed cover is topped with a knob finial and decorated with raised blue and brown leaf patterns in relief. The base and inner plate rim are removable, comprising three distinct components. This example is signed by both artists. Base stamped Doulton Lambeth.
