Confederate Nashville Plow Works Civil War cavalry saber, having brass guard inscribed Nashville Plow Works, CSA, guard with heavy stippling to back side, the pommel and back strap are one piece brass, brass wire wrapped leather grip, scabbard is iron with brass ring mounts and drag, 35 1/4″ blade.
Condition
Scabbard rings show wear, light pitting to scabbard, small break to wire wrap.
