The back of the robe elaborately decorated with a cosmic diagram featuring a sun, moon, constellations and central pagoda paradise scene, the pagoda flanked by two writhing dragons, surrounded by nine dragons in the roundels and Buddhist treasure symbols, all among cloud scrolls,and other symbols within borders incorporating alternating flaming trigrams and auspicious emblems, and front sleeve openings, with metallic gold-wrapped threads on yellow silk ground.
