清乾隆 鬥彩團花紋馬蹄碗 Painted to exterior with floral roundels and a band of lappet to foot. Six character blue Qianlong (1735-1796) seal style mark to base and of the period.

Lots 1074 and 1075, together with other noteworthy lots in this catalogue, form part of an exceptional collection amassed by husband and wife Canadian professionals between 1994-2000 while living in Hong Kong, Japan and other locales and traveling in China, Japan and Taiwan. Some highlight pieces were acquired from Dr Patrick Wang, owner of Orientique (Hong Kong), a well-respected boutique specialising in Chinese antiques and works of art. The collectors had good eyes and studied Chinese pottery and porcelain assiduously and made some interesting authentic acquisitions for their collection that we are pleased to be able to present today
