18th/19th Century. The pale blue vase with three ear handles; six-character underglaze blue Yongzheng mark on base. 11 1/2in h. Good condition. Together with a Hartwell family photograph (undated; c. 1910s) showing the vase displayed with other gifts presented to Emily Susan Hartwell by Governor Sah; and a 1974 appraisal letter to Hartwell’s niece, Emily Hartwell Tupper.
