A 19th Century French gilt bronze mounted malachite centerpiece. Features a single piece of carved malachite in bowl form with open-work hanging berry rim, flanked by double cherub and scrolling acanthus leaf handles. Supported by figural cherubs and winged beasts, finished on an intricately designed wreath and crest footed base.
