in the manner of the Goddard -Townsend School, Newport, Rhode Island, circa 1760, arched covered bonnet with broken arched pediment and urn and flame finial, compartment with fitted interior enclosed by double solid arched panel doors supported by fluted quarter columns, double candle slides beneath, base has desk with shell carved prospect door, drawers and pigeon holes enclosed by slant front writing board, four graduated long drawers with double side lopers, molded base with ogee bracket feet, double cast brass side lift handles, 93 in.
