This button from a larger set like many 18th century buttons is quite are and caricature and satire, :”Three Heads Under the Same Cap” from the French revolution 1789. The art medium is an ink on paper and hand colored in a beautiful array of colors and very detailed. Set under glass with a copper rim and tin back.
