the straight-sided bowl and circular stand painted with cartouches depicting with Chinoiserie figures at various pursuits, including an ostrich hunt on the stand, enclosed within Böttger lustre, iron-red and gilt scrollwork borders, the cover similarly decorated beneath the gilt twig knop with a circular panel of Chinoiserie figures, each with a gilt-edged rim and a band of gilt scrollwork on the cover and stand, the stand with incised Dreher’s mark X for Johann Daniel Rehschuh (Rückert, 1990, p. 124), the mounts contemporary.
