A division one pictorial Handkerchief Corner button:
1 Extra Large 19th century 8 corner button with a head. This fabulous and detailed Handkerchief corner button depicts “The Duchess of Devonshire” with her large hat and a very nice wallpaper background. The button is in fine condition and retains most of its original tint DF (decorative finish). If you have read your July NBS bulletin you will see a similar example to this one in the Handkerchief Corner article and you will have read for the first time ever an article on these intriguing wonderful buttons.
