An 18k gold medal from the last reign of the Ottoman Empire, inscribed with The Tughra of Abdul Hamid II (1842-1916), Islamic characters. Set with a ring for suspension. Abdul Hamid II reigned as the 34th Sultan of the Ottoman Empire and the last one to exert effective control over the fracturing state. A chief of ware, he presided over a successful war against the kingdom of Greece. He is also known to have promulgate the first Ottoman Constitution of December 23rd, 1876. Weight: 25 grams.
