A pair of Chinese cloisonne vases dating from the early-19th century. The vases feature flowers, fruit, branches, and butterflies on a blue ground. The mouth of each vase features ruyi bands, and both vases have dragon handles.

Dimensions are: 16 1/2 inches tall X 9 inches wide; 41.9 cm tall X 22.9 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Both vases are in good overall condition with minor age wear, wear to the gilt, and a few small scratches and surface abrasions.

Provenance: From the private collection of Mr. Paulson in Southern California, who was an antiques dealer in New York City from 1960s early 1980s. These items were acquired in 1960s and 1970s. Mr. Paulson was especially interested in Cloisonne items and amassed a large collection.
